1) What kind of computer and Internet connection do I need to run iTrade™?
A - A computer running Windows 98 SE or higher is required. A broadband (DSL, Cable, T1) Internet connection is required to run all the iTrade features including audio/video broadcasts. A dial-up connection will work by disabling TV and audio and limiting the number of 'electronic symbols' (where bid·ask·size is streamed).
2) What can i get here that's free?
A - iTrade client software is free. Download as many copies as you want on as many different computers as you want or redistribute iTrade yourself. If you do not subscribe to real time data, you will get end-of-day data with all the functionality of iTrade.
3) How do I join a broker/trader group and share information?
A - Contact your broker or iTrade Network Controller and ask that your iTrade ID be added to his Network. The broker notifies us to add your ID and then you will able to see Network information transmissions.
4) Who owns iTrade?
A - GTS Research independently owns 100% of iTrade software and has a marketing partnership with Barchart.com
5) How long does it take to get up and running?
A - Download with a broadband connection in about 1 minute. You will then be ready to go with end-of-day data. To get real time data, fill out a short online form under "My iTrade Account" on the iTrade menu. Submit the form and your ID will be activated within 15 minutes.
6) How do I execute trades electronicly with iTrade?
A - You must be a customer of a brokerage firm with whom we have clearing arrangement.
